Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our Hospitality team at Ivy Court, Doncaster. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering hotel/restaurant standards to our residents, while working in a supportive and open environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain effective stock rotation, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient operations.
- Deputize for the Head Chef as required, demonstrating leadership and teamwork skills.
- Collaborate with the Hospitality team to deliver exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a catering environment, with a focus on residential care.
- NVQ 2 or City & Guilds Equivalent in culinary arts.
- Food Hygiene level 2 certification.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
