Job Summary: Clocktower Dental Surgery is seeking a skilled Dental Nurse to provide high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and maintain the dental surgery for patient treatment, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Provide chairside support to the dentist, facilitating efficient and effective treatment.
- Ensure accurate patient records are maintained, promoting seamless communication between healthcare professionals.
- Sterilise instruments and equipment, upholding the highest standards of infection control.
- Educate patients on oral healthcare, empowering them to make informed decisions about their dental well-being.
- Manage stock control of dental materials, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, with excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.
- Strong patient care skills, with a compassionate approach and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise responsibilities.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Basic IT skills, with proficiency in maintaining digital records and using relevant software applications.
- Registered nurse with relevant qualifications, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
