Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist SLT, you will play a crucial role in providing expert care to patients with complex communication and swallowing disorders.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessment and management of patients with neurological conditions, including dysphagia and communication disorders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of instrumental evaluation of swallowing, including Videofluoroscopy.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to diagnose, assess, treat, and manage swallowing and communication disorders.
- Provide expert advice and education to Speech and Language Therapy colleagues, patients, and carers.
- Support the Speech and Language Therapy team in delivering care across the Acute Medical service.

Person Specification- Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy as recognised by RCSLT and HCPC.
- RCSLT membership.
- Current Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
- Evidence of successful completion of postgraduate study in dysphagia and relevant highly specialist short courses.
- Experience in delivering education and training packages, supervising undergraduate Speech & Language Therapists, and working in multidisciplinary teams.
