About the Role

BMW Group Financial Services UK is seeking a highly skilled Area Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the North East England and South West England regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a consultant to Retailers on the sale and retention of finance and insurance products, marketing and Commercial Finance.
  • Protect the interests of customers and the company by implementing and monitoring business processes and best practice that embeds a compliant and customer-centric culture in Retailers.
  • Ensure the pursuit of sales results does not compromise the fair treatment of customers.
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize volume, product mix, and profit opportunities in the region.
  • Lead a region at Retailer and Retailer Group level to achieve new business sales targets, profitability, and customer retention.
  • Develop a spirited regional community through regular and effective regional meetings.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent would be advantageous.
  • Background in automotive industry, through sales company, financial services, or Retailer.
  • Strong impact and influencing skills.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to 'think on their feet' and solve problems.
  • Ability to work calmly under sustained pressure.
  • Able to demonstrate profound practical experience in either an Area Manager role or Retailer Sales department.
