Are you a proactive, diligent, and confident professional with a strong interest in accountancy and business? We are seeking individuals to join our established and progressive firm of accountants as Payroll Manager.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage a diverse portfolio of payroll clients.
- Provide managerial oversight and support to the payroll team.
- Administer weekly and monthly payrolls, including distribution of online payslips.
- Manage PAYE, National Insurance deductions, student loans, SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP, court orders, and other statutory deductions.
- Proficient in Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) procedures for sub-contractors and contractors, including verifications and monthly CIS returns.
- Administer pension schemes, pension auto-enrolment, incentive schemes, bonuses, ex-gratia payments, and termination payments.
- Liaise with HMRC to ensure compliance with payroll legislation.
- Submit annual reporting tasks including FPS, employee P60 forms, EPS, apprenticeship levy, employment allowances, and CIS returns.
**Requirements:**
- Proficiency in PayCircle, Sage payroll, or similar payroll software.
