Senior DevOps Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a founding member of our tech start-up, you will play a key role in establishing our DevOps function and implementing systems, processes, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on DevOps and establish the function
  • Implement systems, processes, and policies
  • Work within a Microsoft technology stack, with opportunities to work with various tech stacks
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Central Newcastle offices

Requirements:

  • Academic record of achievement, minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top-tier university, Computer Science or similar technical/scientific discipline
  • Expertise with DevOps within an Azure environment
  • Software engineering background (any programming language, C# or Python) and strong scripting skills (PowerShell)
  • Strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
