About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Client Server. As a founding member of our tech start-up, you will play a key role in establishing our DevOps function and driving the implementation of systems, processes, and policies.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on DevOps within an Azure environment. You will work closely with our team to establish a robust and scalable infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring of our applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish and maintain a high-performing DevOps function, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring of applications.
  2. Provide subject matter expertise on DevOps within an Azure environment, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery, and monitoring.
  3. Collaborate with the team to design and implement systems, processes, and policies that support our DevOps function.
  4. Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A strong academic record, including a minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top-tier university in Computer Science or a similar technical/scientific discipline.
  2. Expertise with DevOps within an Azure environment, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery, and monitoring.
  3. A software engineering background, with strong scripting skills in PowerShell or a similar language.
  4. A strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
