Senior DevOps Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a founding member of our tech start-up, you will play a key role in establishing our DevOps function and implementing systems, processes, and policies.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will provide subject matter expertise on DevOps, working within a Microsoft technology stack. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining our DevOps function, ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining our DevOps function
  • Implementing systems, processes, and policies
  • Providing subject matter expertise on DevOps
  • Collaborating with development and operations teams

Requirements:

  • Expertise with DevOps within an Azure environment
  • Software engineering background (any programming language, C# or Python) and strong scripting skills (PowerShell)
  • Strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
  • Academic record of achievement, minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top tier university, Computer Science or similar technical/scientific discipline
