Senior DevOps Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a founding member of our tech start-up, you will play a key role in establishing our DevOps function and implementing systems, processes, and policies.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will provide subject matter expertise on DevOps, working within a Microsoft technology stack. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining our DevOps function, ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain our DevOps function, ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on DevOps, working within a Microsoft technology stack.
  • Implement systems, processes, and policies to ensure efficient and effective DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top-tier university, Computer Science or similar technical/scientific discipline.
  • Expertise with DevOps within an Azure environment.
  • Software engineering background (any programming language, C# or Python) and strong scripting skills (PowerShell).
  • Strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices.
