About the Role

The Behavioural Economics Intern will support the development and execution of Swiss Re's behavioural science consultancy in the EMEA region. As a Behavioural Economics Intern, you will apply Behavioural Economics with our clients, working closely with the Behavioural Economics consultants to support the achievement of Swiss Re Solutions fee-based revenue ambition.

Responsibilities
  • Work on client projects with the Behavioural Economics consultants to deliver applied Behavioural Economics projects, including conducting consumer research, designing Behavioural Economics solutions, and running A/B tests.
  • Create and update Behavioural Economics marketing and sales materials to strengthen Swiss Re's thought leadership position in Behavioural Science.
  • Contribute ideas and perspectives to develop and incubate new Behavioural Science solutions that can generate scalable, repeatable fee revenue.
About the Team

Swiss Re's Solutions Division develops and manages services for Swiss Re's reinsurance clients, primarily insurers. This enables us to leverage our risk knowledge to create value for clients and generate new revenue streams for Swiss Re. Our Solutions are services delivered to clients that lead to sustainable fee revenue for Swiss Re, in addition to income from our core reinsurance business.

About You
  • You have a university degree in Behavioural Science or a related field, such as Economics, Psychology, or Marketing.
  • You are highly skilled in using the MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Experience with Qualtrics, Prolific, or similar tools for running quantitative research is an advantage.
  • You have applied experience in Behavioural Science, gained through coursework or previous work experience.
  • You are a self-starter, proactive, and have strong communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly and enthusiastically about Behavioural Science.
  • You are well-organized, with good time management skills, and previous project management experience is an advantage.
  • You are a fluent English speaker, with any other European languages beneficial, ideally French.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the insurance industry is an advantage but not essential.
