Behavioural Science Consultant

We are seeking a Behavioural Science Consultant to join our Data & Intelligence Team at Burson EMEA. As a Behavioural Science Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering research projects, testing hypotheses, analysing and presenting research results, including consumer surveys and experiments.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support our account leaders and colleagues in creative strategy roles to create and carry out effective campaigns grounded in behavioural science.
  • Build collaborative trusting relationships with your colleagues in the UK and around the globe, helping them understand the capabilities that behavioural science can bring to their clients.
  • Contribute to creative ideation sessions, and be a proactive participant within new business meetings and pitches.
  • Promote Burson and our behavioural science offer to develop new business opportunities and expand current client reach.

Requirements

  • A curious mind.
  • A master's degree or equivalent work experience; or working to complete postgraduate studies. This should be in behavioural science or a related discipline.
  • Some experience applying behavioural science insights in a real-world setting, preferably in a client advisory capacity.
  • Experience in applying behavioural science approaches to real-world challenges.
  • An interest in using behavioural science and research to solve practical business problems and support campaigns.
  • Skills in analysing and presenting both quantitative and qualitative results from audience research.
  • Excellent communications skills, able to articulate complex issues clearly to colleagues, small groups and large audiences in both written and verbal form.
  • Experience with survey vendors and the programming language R is preferred (but can be taught).
