What You Will Be Doing

As a Sales and Booking Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing Christmas bookings, assisting the sales team and coordinating with restaurant managers to ensure smooth operations. You will handle customer enquiries, promote additional packages and maintain records while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Customer Reservations: Take Christmas bookings through various channels.
  • Manage Bookings: Keep track of all Christmas reservations, ensuring bookings are accurately recorded, confirmed and communicated to the relevant departments.
  • Support Christmas Sales Team: Assist the sales team with day-to-day tasks and provide backup during busy periods.
  • Manage Reservation Notifications: Keep guests informed of any changes to their reservations or requests.
  • Respond to Enquiries: Answer customer questions about availability, pricing, menus and packages.
  • Request Payments: Send deposit and payment requests to Christmas bookings via our reservation system.
  • Provide Menu Information: Share detailed information about Christmas menus, dietary options and special requests with customers.
  • Coordinate with Restaurant Managers: Work closely with restaurant management to ensure all booking details are communicated and there are no clashes.
  • Upsell Packages: Promote additional services or upgrades such as drink packages, entertainment or special offers to maximise sales.
  • Administration Duties: Maintain accurate records of bookings, follow up on any outstanding payments or confirmations and assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, reservations or sales role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple bookings.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak holiday season.
  • A friendly, approachable manner with a passion for delivering great service.
  • Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and reservation software (training will be provided).
