Position Overview
Are you a dedicated Senior Clinical Practitioner seeking a role in primary healthcare with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care?
We are in search of a professional who is committed to providing top-notch medical services. A prescribing qualification is mandatory, and familiarity with digital consultation platforms would be advantageous but not required.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will operate as an independent practitioner, responsible for diagnosing, managing, and prescribing treatments for patients experiencing health issues. This may involve in-person consultations, telehealth sessions, or occasional home visits. To facilitate continuous learning, we conduct monthly tutorials for our clinical practitioners, alongside regular educational meetings.
Core Duties Include:
- **Patient Care:** Deliver comprehensive healthcare services, including patient evaluations, medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
- **Diagnosis & Treatment:** Identify and manage both acute and chronic health conditions, prescribing medications and therapies as necessary.
- **Care Planning:** Create and implement tailored care plans, ensuring that patients receive personalized and effective treatment.
- **Preventive Services:** Provide preventive healthcare services such as vaccinations, health screenings, and wellness counseling.
- **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with our medical team, including physicians and nursing staff, to enhance patient care coordination.
- **Documentation:** Maintain precise and current medical records in line with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- **Quality Improvement:** Participate in quality enhancement initiatives and contribute to the formulation of clinical protocols.
- **Professional Growth:** Stay informed about medical advancements and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.
Candidate Profile
Experience
Essential:
- Strong clinical expertise, decision-making capabilities, and a patient-centered approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function effectively within a team.
Desirable:
- Experience with electronic health record systems; training can be provided if necessary.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Nursing or a recognized Paramedic qualification.
- Current registration as a Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Paramedic.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic with a prescribing credential.
