Grantham CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) Core Team are looking for a new team member to help in providing an 'outstanding' (CQC) specialist mental health service to children, young people and their families. Are you a creative, passionate and highly motivated individual who can join us in making a difference to children, young people and their families in Lincolnshire who are experiencing mental health challenges? If so, a vacancy have arisen within the Grantham CAMHS hub for a full-time Band 5 Core Practitioner (Mental Health Nurse/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist) to join our established multi-disciplinary team. We provide assessment and a range of therapeutic interventions, working alongiside children, young people and their families as they learn, develop understanding and skills that establish good mental health practices.
The post is based at our main team base in Grantham but you will need to be able to travel independently throughout the County, (and occasionally further) especially Sleaford, Bourne and Stamford. You will also need to be able to contribute to our late night offer on a rota basis (Tuesday till 8:00 p.m.).
You will be supported by the Team Co-ordinator, Clinical Lead and Team and will take part in regular, high quality supervision and training so that you feel confident in your contribution to the team and children/young person's journey within CAMHS and beyond
