Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Tameside neurodevelopmental team as a senior practitioner.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced mental health professional to work within our well-established team supporting young people and families with neurodevelopmental disorders.
The successful candidate will be an experienced qualified Nurse Practitioner/Non-Medical Prescriber who is able to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team, facilitating effective assessment, diagnosing, and prescribing for children and young people with ADHD.
The postholder will manage their own caseload, providing a range of high-quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs, which will include mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation, and interventions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive practice in the field of ADHD, including assessment, formulation, and delivery of therapy, and will be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the young people.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the essential criteria outlined in the person specification, which includes extensive practice in the field of ADHD, knowledge of pharmacology, and experience of working with children and young people.
Person Specification
- RMN/RGN and post-qualification short courses and experience to master's level
- Extensive practice in the field of ADHD, including assessment, formulation, and delivery of therapy
- NSF and wide knowledge of pharmacology in relation to ADHD

- Non-Medical Prescriber
- ENB 603 or other post-registration qualification relevant to CAMHS
