Clinical Nurse Specialist Neuro-Developmental ADHD Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Tameside neurodevelopmental team as a senior practitioner.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced mental health professional to work within our well-established team supporting young people and families with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Main Duties of the JobThe successful candidate will be an experienced qualified Nurse Practitioner/Non-Medical Prescriber who is able to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team facilitating effective assessment, diagnosing and prescribing, and generating prescriptions for children and young people with ADHD using appropriate prescribing formularies and monitoring and reviewing such medication.
Key responsibilities include managing a caseload, providing high-quality care, and conducting mental state assessments, risk assessments, and family and social assessments.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have extensive practice in the field of ADHD, including assessment, formulation, and delivery of therapy.
They will also have a wide knowledge of pharmacology in relation to ADHD and be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
Desirable qualifications include Non-Medical Prescribing and post-registration qualifications relevant to CAMHS.
