About the Role

We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) at Christian Head Residential Home in Kirkby Stephen. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults, supporting them to live their life how they choose and enjoy their later years.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing physical and emotional care to our residents, assisting with medication, personal care, and encouraging independence. No experience or qualifications are needed to get started, as we will provide fully paid training and development to support your growth.

About Our Home

Christian Head provides a safe, caring, and home-from-home environment for up to 28 residents with complex health care needs. Our home is situated close to all facilities in the market town of Kirkby Stephen, offering respite and residential care for those who are elderly, frail, or have dementia.

Requirements

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults.
