Located in a vibrant area, our facility provides Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for a maximum of 86 residents.
As a Housekeeping Support Staff member, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the cleanliness of the premises and ensure that hygiene protocols are adhered to in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
Housekeeping Support Staff Contract
- £11.44 per hour
- Contracted for 28 hours per week
- Pension plan available
- 5.6 weeks of annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
- Uniform provided
- PVG costs covered
- Onsite parking available
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a thorough cleaning service within the care home, adhering to company standards and best practices.
- Implement hygienic work practices relevant to the care home environment.
- Maintain and clean various floor surfaces effectively.
- Clean and care for furniture, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings.
- Sanitize fixtures and fittings, and replenish necessary supplies.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently.
- Clean vertical surfaces safely without the use of ladders or access equipment.
- Contribute to the daily well-being of all residents, aiding their adjustment to the care home.
- Ensure laundry services are conducted effectively, following established guidelines.
- Safeguard residents' laundry and personal items, ensuring they are labeled as instructed.
- Uphold Health and Safety, infection control, and fire safety standards within the laundry and overall care environment.
- Ensure safe operating procedures are followed in the laundry area.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain an effective laundry service.
