About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depute Head Teacher to join our team at South Lanarkshire Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the educational provision of a designated school, working closely with the Head Teacher and other senior staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality education to our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the educational provision of a designated school, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to our pupils.
• Work closely with the Head Teacher and other senior staff to develop and implement educational policies and strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and other staff to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's improvement plan.
• Ensure that the school's resources and facilities are used effectively to support the delivery of the curriculum.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and management experience in education, with a proven ability to lead and manage teams to achieve high-quality outcomes. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
