Job Title: Children Residential Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to vulnerable children and young people.

About the Role:
  • Support children and young people in all aspects of their daily lives, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, encouraging their interests and hobbies.
  • Participate in weekend activities, holidays, and trips to enhance the children's experiences.
  • Ensure the safety and protection of the children, adhering to care plans and guidelines.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to the young people, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Requirements:
  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
  • Empathetic and caring nature, with a strong ability to build relationships.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar social care setting.
  • Valid UK driving license and current Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • The right to work in the UK.
