Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Parts Sales Specialist to join our team at Consult2Recruit. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and securing parts sales, working with suppliers to purchase parts at competitive prices, and collaborating with the Branch Manager to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally handle incoming calls to promote and secure parts sales, utilizing strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Work closely with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery of parts, maintaining stock levels and meeting customer demands.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, meeting or exceeding monthly sales, margin, and contribution targets.
  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding head office and local customer service level agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform stock cleanses and manage internal transfers efficiently, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to local and national customers, building strong relationships and encouraging repeat business.
  • Assist in building a customer base and promoting the truck and trailer services, identifying sales opportunities and developing targeted marketing strategies.
  • Manage cash and payment systems, prioritizing safety and adhering to company procedures.
  • Work closely with the parts team to meet sales and delivery targets, including over-the-counter sales and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Evaluate local market conditions, identifying sales opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Comply with health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values in daily work, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with van drivers to ensure timely deliveries, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional tasks as required, ensuring smooth branch operations and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Truck & Trailer Parts knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent communication, telephone, and computer skills.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Health & Safety knowledge and adherence to company procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
