Junior Sous Chef Opportunity at Le Deli Robuchon King's Road

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at Le Deli Robuchon King's Road. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our high-volume production kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef: Assist in daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely meal production and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in large quantities for a range of clients, utilizing various cooking techniques and preparation methods.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Supervise and guide kitchen staff, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace at all times.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure all food safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed in line with industry standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Leadership in Absence: Step in for the Sous Chef in their absence, ensuring operations continue smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume production kitchen or restaurant.
  • Culinary Skills: Familiarity with various cooking techniques and preparation methods.
  • Teamwork and Leadership: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Basic knowledge of food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
