Executive Chef Assistant – The Ivy Collection

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at The Ivy Collection. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Executive Chef in the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of menus and dishes.

  • Support the Executive Chef in the management of kitchen staff, including training, development, and performance management.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas and concepts.

  • Ensure that all kitchen operations are run efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality, safety, and hygiene.

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.

  • Assist with the management of kitchen inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.

  • Support the Executive Chef in the development and implementation of kitchen policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or equivalent in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Strong culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and hygiene.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
