The Role - Outbound Customer Service Advisor - Direct Debits

We are seeking confident, resilient individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a talent for upselling, and strong rapport-building skills. As an Outbound Customer Service Advisor - Direct Debits, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up direct debits with existing customers through outbound calls
  • Displaying a friendly, confident manner, excellent communication skills, and a real ability to build rapport with customers
  • Upselling the benefits of new products to existing customers
  • Explaining the concept of direct debits and its benefits to customers
  • Using initiative to create original solutions to problems
  • Promoting the company brand image positively
  • Demonstrating strong product knowledge to answer customer queries
  • Providing a high level of customer service, being appreciative and understanding of each individual's needs
Required Experience and Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, with previous experience in a contact centre position highly desirable
  • A proven record in upselling products with existing customers
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills
  • Ability to work both as a team and as an individual
  • Ability to work towards office targets and KPIs
  • The ability to use initiative and manage time effectively
  • Strong self-management skills
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
