Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commercial Vehicle Sales Advisor to join our team.

Working Hours

Full-time position, Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5:30pm, Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, and one Saturday in three from 9am to 12pm.

Role Summary

As a Commercial Vehicle Sales Advisor at Arnold Clark, you will leverage your exceptional communication abilities to engage customers with our top-tier commercial fleet solutions.

Your responsibilities will include creating personalized video presentations that highlight the features and advantages of our vehicles, as well as fostering strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Given the fast-paced nature of the fleet market, adaptability and quick thinking are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing engaging and informative vehicle walkaround videos for clients.
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of our product offerings to become a subject matter expert.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Acquainting yourself with the full range of franchise products.
  • Handling incoming sales inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Ensuring that the display area is well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Responding promptly and effectively to online leads.
  • Building and nurturing lasting customer relationships through outstanding service.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate various internal systems.
  • Excellent time management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to maximizing sales opportunities, while also being a collaborative team member.
  • A valid UK driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the local market is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in van or commercial vehicle sales is beneficial.
