Customer Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our Housing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day scheduling of the Customer Service department's workload and coordinate administrative tasks.
- Make courtesy calls to customers in line with their journey.
- Conduct stock control for Customer Service Operatives' vans.
- Accurately diagnose defects, prioritize repairs, and arrange appointments for customers.
- Log all contact with customers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
- Liaise between customers and contractors to share information effectively.
- Deliver services within data protection legislation guidelines.
- Provide high-quality customer service through various formats, including phone and email.
- Establish defect nature through intelligent questioning and arrange inspections for complex works.
- Manage relationships with customers, contractors, and colleagues, ensuring customers are informed.
- Allocate jobs to contractors via internal systems to meet repair priority targets.
- Manage costs through correct processes and register them in line with procedures.
- Ability to build rapport with customers, colleagues, and sub-contractors.
- Excellent IT, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in the building or property industry preferred.
- Valid driving license.
