Job Title: Senior Contracting Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracting Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects up to £15 million, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects up to £15 million, ensuring they meet the required quality, safety, and client satisfaction standards.
  2. Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of project managers, site managers, and other construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  3. Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Monitor project performance and implement improvements where necessary, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  5. Reporting: Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management, providing detailed insights into project progress and performance.
  6. Risk Management: Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and projects, identifying opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Manager or similar role within a tier 1 or tier 2 contractor, with a strong track record of delivering high-profile construction projects.
  2. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of construction professionals.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant project management software and tools, with a strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
  4. Qualifications: Relevant degree or qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
