Job Summary
We are pleased to be working with Hays Senior Finance to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join a talented finance team of qualified and part-qualified accountants. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior financial management and have responsibility for internal and external entity and group reporting on a timely basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial reporting processes and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide technical support to the group on financial reporting matters and mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with the senior financial management to drive business performance and improvement.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to model data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with broad technical knowledge and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel and data modeling.
- Ambitious and keen interest in the business world, with a desire to drive business performance and improvement.
What We Offer
The successful candidate will join a growing group and have exposure to the board, working closely with the senior management team. They will have the opportunity to travel within the group and be part of a dynamic and innovative finance team. A salary in the region of £48,000 to £55,000 plus benefits will be offered.
