Senior Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to lead our financial reporting and analysis efforts for BGBS Customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for spearheading our monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting obligations, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
About the Role:As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the preparation, filing, and completion of local Statutory Accounts and group reporting.
- Assisting in the implementation of new systems to enhance our financial processes.
- Providing timely information and responses to Bertelsmann group's tax consultants and auditors during half-year and year-end audits.
- Ensuring the correct application of group accounting policies and maintaining strong controls, compliance, and governance.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with one of the UK CCAB chartered professional bodies, including CIMA.
- Proficiency in IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of key accounting concepts and general reporting requirements.
