The role of Service Operations Manager encompasses:
- Leading the comprehensive management of the service, ensuring effective team coordination and collaboration with senior management.
- Building and nurturing relationships with partners, stakeholders, and external organizations.
- Monitoring and enhancing service delivery to meet established performance indicators.
- Managing the financial health of the service, including budget oversight.
- Overseeing staff recruitment, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Adapting working hours to meet the service's needs.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a managerial capacity within a similar care environment, demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing a CQC registered service.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
- A compassionate and dedicated approach to supporting individuals, with a focus on personal development.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with statutory and voluntary organizations.
- A valid driving license is essential for this role.
