Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Priory Group. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of nurses and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Minimum 6-12 months post-registration experience in a mental health setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of nurses.
- Knowledge of NMC standards and guidelines.
- Experience of working in a forensic mental health setting.
