Job Summary
Vox Network Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Land Charges Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for processing Local Land Charges (LLC) searches and Commons searches, maintaining the manual and computerized LLC Register and Commons Register records.
Key Responsibilities
- To process Local Land Charges (LLC) searches and Commons searches, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in maintaining the manual and computerized LLC Register and Commons Register records.
- To work collaboratively with our team to provide an effective customer-focused LLC service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- To assist in the implementation and development of our new computerized LLC system, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to our operations.
- To be performance-managed by our Senior Land Charges Officer and be accountable for achieving personal appraisal targets, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Land Charges legislation and practice, including its principles, processes, and procedures.
- Proven experience in using IT systems, with a strong understanding of data management and analysis.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and make informed decisions to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure, delivering a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Evidence of a minimum of 6 months' experience in a Local Land Charges office or related local government service.
Contract Details
- Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend.
- PAYE via Umbrella.
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Onboarding and Compliance
Candidates will be required to complete an onboarding process and compliance checks, including DBS and online training modules, prior to commencing employment.
