About the Role
The Company: On Target Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Area Sales Managers in the southern part of the UK, covering the sales of domestic and commercial lighting products to national and independent electrical wholesalers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 9 Area Sales Managers in the southern region
- Sell the full range of lighting products to national and independent wholesalers
- Engage with contractors and back-sell products through the wholesale channel
- Regular site visits to drive business growth
- Travel extensively throughout the south of England
- Full training, sales growth, new product launches, and recruitment
- Understand the sales process for a manufacturing company
Benefits
- Competitive salary of £55k-£65k
- Commission up to 48% of salary
- Car allowance, phone, laptop, iPad, and pension
- 20 days + BH
Requirements
- Proven man-management experience
- Strong knowledge and contacts with national and independent wholesalers
- Ideally from a background working for an electrical manufacturer
- Able to travel extensively throughout the south of England
