Job Opportunity: Nursery Staff

Reed Education is currently supporting several day nurseries in the Grimsby area with their recruitment needs. These nurseries are seeking bank staff who can provide last-minute or short-notice cover for staff absences. Opportunities are available to work in various age groups, including babies, toddlers, and pre-school rooms within the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise children during play, naps, and mealtimes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, adhering to relevant procedures and protocols.
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, parents, and external agencies, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures correctly, prioritizing the protection and welfare of children.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children is essential, with a strong focus on providing high-quality care and education.
  • A Teaching Assistant (TA) qualification is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • A clear, enhanced DBS is required, or the willingness to apply for one through Reed Education.
