Job Title: Salaried GP

Fell Tower Medical Centre is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Salaried GP to join our team. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing a caseload, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of patients, providing comprehensive and compassionate care, and making professional decisions in relation to presenting problems.
  • Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and home visits, ensuring timely and effective communication with patients and their families.
  • Assess and manage patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, using your clinical skills and judgment to develop effective care plans.
  • Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, and provide health education and counseling to promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Full GMC Registration
  • Completion of GP Vocational Training Scheme/JCTGP Certificate
  • Evidence of entry to the Performers List
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess and manage patients with complex needs.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a calm and confident approach to decision-making.
