Fire Protection Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Systems Engineer to perform scheduled maintenance on sprinkler fire pump systems.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to join or re-enter the fire protection industry as a Pump Engineer.
Key Responsibilities- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks on Sprinkler Fire Pumps in accordance with industry standards.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of fire alarm panels and sprinkler systems, including pumps and diesel engines.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler pumps.
- Conduct repairs on rotating machinery to a high standard.
- Document findings and complete job reports for each inspection or breakdown.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Ideally, candidates should possess experience or a working knowledge of Sprinkler Fire Pumps.
- Familiarity with diesel engines is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail for job reporting.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, while knowing when to seek assistance.
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance-related field is desirable but not mandatory.
