Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join our team at Morgan Fire Protection. As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, service, and repairs on fire detection systems at customer sites, ensuring they are kept in good working order and in accordance with current regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine testing and inspections, including alarm activations, visual inspections, and functional checks.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed documentation is maintained for all work carried out.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs and undertake any necessary repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain good relationships with clients.
  • Report any faults or potential issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and maintain knowledge of new products and technology.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates who offer:

  • Experience working as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience in maintaining and servicing fire detection systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g. BS 5839).
  • Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence.
