We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Clinical Psychologist to join our Clinical Psychology team at HMP Ranby.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist to provide specialist psychological case consultation, assist with the identification of individuals with problematic personality traits, and provide specialist case formulations under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the identification of individuals with likely problematic personality traits.
- Provide specialist psychological case consultation through planned consultation clinics and informally in response to advice requests.
- Provide specialist case formulations under supervision on the cases with the most complex needs.
- Psychology honours degree 2:1 or higher, meeting the requirements for graduate basis for Chartered Membership with the British Psychological Society.
- Experience of working with offenders or patients with mental health problems, intellectual and developmental disabilities, personality disorders, and substance misuse.
- Experience of working under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
- Experience of completing risk assessments and psychometric testing.
- Skills and experience in SPSS, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Able to travel across the Trust's geographical area. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post.
