Operational Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Team Lead to join our team at Superdrug. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for supporting the Team Leaders with the daily management and coordination of site operations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and Direct Resource: Plan and direct resources in your area to meet business demands, escalating any concerns to your Team Leader.
- Engage Colleagues: Engage colleagues to achieve daily targets, prioritizing workload and disseminating resources where required.
- Review Operational Progress: Continuously review operational progress against plan, analyze data, and operate proactively to adapt the plan where required, escalating any performance concerns to the appropriate Team Leader.
- Complete KPI Spreadsheet: Complete KPI spreadsheets and trackers that demonstrate performance/efficiency data, communicating all issues to the appropriate Team Leader.
- Understand Policy and Procedures: Fully understand all policy, processes, and procedures in your area, acting as a source of expertise to support colleagues throughout the daily operation.
- Own Safe Systems of Work: Own safe systems of work within the area that you are responsible for, ensuring 100% compliance amongst the team.
- Drive Good Health and Safety Practices: Be an ambassador for driving good health and safety practices within the area that you work.
- Assist Team Leader: Assist the Team Leader with ad hoc projects and reports when required.
- People Management: Assist the Team Leader with all People Management activities.
- Flexibility: Work flexibly to meet the demands of the business.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience within a distribution environment or similar.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate and engage effectively with team and colleagues.
- IT Skills: Good IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
