We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Brand Strategist to help us grow our YouTube channels and develop a comprehensive strategy to increase channel growth, engagement, viewers, subscribers, and traffic.

As a Freelance Brand Strategist, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple YouTube channels, expanding their reach and brand awareness, and managing audience and community correspondence.

You will analyze data and metrics to track the channel's and content's performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing a content strategy and calendar for the channel.

Additionally, you will drive maintenance and optimization of content for better search and discovery on YouTube, publish new videos on the channel, and create the channel upload strategy, including overseeing thumbnail creation, keywording, and copy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive YouTube strategy to increase channel growth, engagement, viewers, subscribers, and traffic.
  • Oversee multiple YouTube channels and expand their reach and brand awareness.
  • Manage audience and community correspondence, including responding to comments and messages.
  • Analyze data and metrics to track the channel's and content's performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement a content strategy and calendar for the channel.
  • Drive maintenance and optimization of content for better search and discovery on YouTube.
  • Publish new videos on the channel and create the channel upload strategy, including overseeing thumbnail creation, keywording, and copy.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing brand identities and channels on YouTube.
  • Experience of growing YouTube channels previously.
  • An understanding of how YouTube and video can work as part of a wider marketing strategy.
  • A good knowledge of YouTube algorithms.
  • Experience of working alongside video and social teams.
