Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a YouTube strategy to increase channel growth, engagement, viewers, subscribers, and traffic.
  • Oversee multiple YouTube channels and expand their reach and brand awareness.
  • Manage and analyze data and metrics to track the channel's and content's performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement a content strategy and calendar for the channels.
  • Drive maintenance and optimization of content for better search and discovery on YouTube.
  • Publish new videos on the channels and create the channel upload strategy, including overseeing thumbnail creation, keywording, and copy.
  • Monitor and enforce the channels' community guidelines and policies.
  • Assist in building the channel tone and identity.
  • Ideate relevant content in line with current trends alongside creative teams.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of content calendars.
  • Build out a project management process.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing brand identities and channels on YouTube.
  • Experience of growing YouTube channels previously.
  • An understanding of how YouTube and video can work as part of a wider marketing strategy.
  • A good knowledge of YouTube algorithms.
  • Experience of working alongside video and social teams.
