Key Responsibilities:

Support and advise service users on their assessed needs
\u2022
Enable service users to find support that meets their needs
\u2022
Advise and guide service users on how to manage their Direct Payment within policy guidelines and framework
\u2022
Work alongside the Councils Social Work and financial services, procurement services and external independent sector service partners
\u2022
Promote the use of direct payments as a solution to having a care package that meets need

Requirements:

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience
\u2022
Some experience of working in Social Services, voluntary sector or Health
\u2022
Experience of managing accounts and working out care costs

This role requires an enhanced DBS
