Searcys, the oldest caterer in the UK, is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar.

Located within the iconic St Pancras International Station, our restaurant offers a unique escape to sit back and enjoy the charm of the magnificent station.

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for driving quality and consistency within the restaurant, ensuring flawless service and exceptional food and drinks to our guests.

You will mentor and guide the junior team, coaching on the job and behaving in an exemplary manner to create a positive and supportive working environment for the team.

This role requires someone with opening and closing procedure experience and will be part of the managerial team in the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work with the Senior Managers, Kitchen and Restaurant team to plan, organise and deliver seamless service to our guests.
  • Build positive working relationships & communication methods with key departments
  • To brief the restaurant team on all aspects of the business and to oversee the running of service
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • To lead the supervisors, waiters and colleagues
  • Implementation of the staff induction and mandatory training within the first three months of employment and monitoring of staff performance during probation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in people management
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and able to work well under pressure
  • Meticulous organisational abilities; high attention to detail
  • Concise and effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
  • Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills
  • Creative, positive energy, self-directed, amiable, and composed under pressure; helpful and humble
