Work Schedule
This position entails approximately 1510 hours annually (part-time). The hours may fluctuate monthly, but your salary will be distributed in 12 equal payments throughout the year.

Compensation
The annual salary for this role is £23,166, pro rata.

Work Environment
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be stationed at Berrington Hall, a stunning Neo-Classical mansion. The property has gained recognition for its contemporary art exhibitions, both within the mansion and across the grounds. In addition to the mansion and gardens, the site features a second-hand bookshop and a charming tea-room.

Key Responsibilities
As a Culinary Specialist, your primary focus will be in the kitchen, where you will assist in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Your culinary creations will be served directly to visitors. You will:
  • Follow recipes and prepare ingredients with precision
  • Assist with deliveries and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

We will provide you with a comprehensive induction tailored to your role, along with training in food safety and allergen management. Opportunities for further professional development will also be available.
