**Cyber Security Lead**
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Lead to join our team at City Facilities Management. As a key member of our Cyber Security team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation, development, and execution of Security Operations, protecting our users, infrastructure, and data from a range of threats.
Key Responsibilities:
**Security Operations:**
• Monitor networks and systems to detect security threats and alarms.
• Analyze and assess alarms to determine the severity of the threat.
• Report on threats, intrusion attempts, and false alarms, either resolving them or escalating them to the appropriate team.
• Take the lead on a range of security-related activities, including compliance with policies and standards, vulnerability management, monitoring and reporting, risk and threat assessment, incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Support plans to develop and improve Cyber Security and compliance with ISO27001, GDPR, and other standards and regulations at City.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
**Essential Qualifications:**
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in Cyber Security or Network and System Administration.
• Professional certifications in Cyber Security, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001.
• Experience with security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud security, including AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements, including GDPR and ISO 27001.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security platforms, including AWS and Azure.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Strong understanding of security analytics and threat intelligence.
• Experience with incident response and disaster recovery planning.
