About the Role: Our client, a prominent and innovative engineering and design consultancy, is seeking a skilled Lead Environmental Consultant to join their team. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for flexibility while contributing to projects across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Environmental Consultant, you will collaborate with a variety of teams and stakeholders, overseeing and managing infrastructure initiatives. Your role will involve:

  • Planning and conducting ecological assessments
  • Coordinating ecological mitigation strategies
  • Utilizing methodologies such as biodiversity net gain (BNG) and natural capital to interpret survey findings

Qualifications:
• BSc/MSc in Ecology or a related field (mandatory)
• Experience in project management
• Licenses for protected species surveys
• Full UK driving license (required)
