About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in coordinating statutory and non-statutory environmental assessment processes required to support major development proposals across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project team management and client liaison, including assisting with business and client development
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams on the coordination and management of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), including taking overall responsibility for leading smaller projects and coordinating elements of larger schemes
  • Desk-based environmental baseline data collection and interpretation, including site visits
  • Report writing and preparation of figures, including drafting sections of Impact Assessment chapters and document reviews
  • Stakeholder liaison, including preparing materials for and participating in stakeholder meetings and public consultations

Current Opportunities

Our current projects associated with this role include:

  • Major Projects and Programmes - Supporting our Major Projects and Programmes team on a range of large-scale projects, including frameworks with the British Antarctic Survey and the Ministry of Defence, and new projects in the rail and road sectors
  • Property and Multi Markets - Supporting our Property and Multi Market teams on a wide range of projects, including frameworks with Homes England and work in the property, datacentre, and ports & harbours sectors
  • Energy - Supporting our Energy team on projects in onshore and offshore wind, solar, BESS, transmission lines, hydrogen, and carbon capture & storage

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related environmental discipline. Prior EIA coordination experience on complex projects is essential, and a Master's degree in an environmental discipline is advantageous.
