We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PR & Media Officer to join our team at the Blockchain & Climate Institute. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a vital role in shaping and delivering our media and communications strategy to drive the achievement of our goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, pitch story ideas to international journalists, and secure media coverage for the Blockchain & Climate Institute.
- Content Creation: Assist in the development of engaging content, including press releases, media advisories, and social media posts, to promote the Institute's work and achievements.
- Communications Strategy: Help lead the implementation of the Institute's communications strategy, including content planning, stakeholder engagement, and media outreach.
- Event Planning: Support the planning and execution of events, including conferences, webinars, and workshops, to promote the Institute's work and engage with stakeholders.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the media landscape, and provide insights to inform the Institute's communications strategy.
- Experience: Proven experience in media relations, communications, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the media landscape and communications strategies.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with media contacts and stakeholders.
- Education: A relevant degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
