Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on an interim basis at a busy operational hotel in the Greater London area. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for all hotel employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle, including data input, calculations, and disbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and employment laws.
  • Handle payroll queries from staff and management promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns, including PAYE and National Insurance contributions.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and generate reports for management review.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
  • Collaborate with HR to process new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.

What We Offer:

  • General office hours Monday to Friday, with the option for part-time hours on an interim basis.
  • Hourly rate of £15.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements:

  • Experience in payroll processing and management.
  • Knowledge of UK tax regulations and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
