About the Role:

The Senior MI Analyst will be the driving force behind the development and optimization of business intelligence solutions, enabling operational teams across the business to achieve their strategic goals. They will lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced business intelligence dashboards and reports, ensuring they deliver valuable insights into sales and service performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced business intelligence dashboards and reports, utilizing technical skills in data analysis and visualization to create robust and dynamic data visualizations.
  • Drive the optimization and enhancement of business intelligence solutions to ensure they meet evolving business needs and deliver impactful insights.
  • Engage with operational teams to deeply understand their data analysis needs and tailor business intelligence solutions to provide relevant and actionable insights.
  • Lead the communication of complex data findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Champion the continuous improvement of the business intelligence delivery process, leveraging technical skills to streamline reporting and increase efficiency.
  • Provide technical mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of development and growth in business intelligence competencies.
  • Oversee the governance of key performance indicator (KPI) changes and definitions, applying technical expertise to ensure accuracy and relevance in KPI metrics.
  • Manage the day-to-day allocation of business-as-usual (BAU) work, utilizing a deep understanding of business intelligence development to prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • A strong team player who is comfortable forging relationships across senior stakeholders and delivering honest messages.
  • Experience in delivering business intelligence through data visualization tools (preferably Power BI) across operational teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have or be working towards a Power BI professional accreditation.
  • Be proficient or working towards proficiency in technical disciplines such as data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence.
